Located off the Santa Ana river trail in Norco CA lies a century old powerhouse. Speculation brings us to assume the building was built late 19th century (1890's) and due to the vast amount of water damage the building withstood abandoned in the year 1914.
Not much more is known about the history, but on a quiet day we headed inside the well known urban spot off the Santa Ana River trail.

Parking is residential, and located on the corner of Pinto Pl. and Viceroy Ave. Cordinates: 33.954604, -117.525207
Look for a horse trail just in the middle of Pinto Pl. It's a skinny dirt alley which heads north towards the powerhouse. Continue on this trail for less than a mile, if so choose to extend the hike continue on the Santa Ana River trail or check out the local Pumpkin Rock.
